Jazz Band spends an evening in the park

The KHS Jazz Band joined the fun at the Band Boosters evening in the park.  Guests were able to enjoy music from the Jazz Band, games for kids, and a steak sandwich while enjoying a lovely evening in the park.

Redskin Brigade Takes A Break In The KHS Pool.

The Knox Redskin Brigade cooled off in the pool after a long two weeks of summer marching practice.  The kids enjoyed some time to relax and unwind in the water after a long night of band practice.  

Who knew that Mr. Phipps was such a good swimmer!  The student had a hard time keeping up.  Anyone want to race?

KHS Language Arts Teacher Receives Writing Award

KHS is proud to announce that Mr. Poindexter was chosen as one of the winners in the Filbert Publishing June 2010 Short Story Contest, Category: Travel. His submission titled "Traveling from Japan to Italy" took 2nd place in this writing contest.

Congratulations to Mr. Poindexter and the school looks forwards to seeing his short story at the start of the school year.

Cheer Squad Towers Over Competition

The Knox High School and Knox Middle School Cheer squads performed at the Starke County Fair competition on July 13, 2010.  The cheerleaders represented their schools and community with class and style.

Maids-a-milking a success at the Starke County Fair thanks to the support of local Knox, NJ and OD administrators.

Only for the SCYC would community leaders join the fun at the fair with the maids-a-milking contest.  The KCSC staff joined others to support the Youth Club efforts.
