Sitting there for hours making the automatic voice on your computer read what you type.

Technology these days is absolutely mind-boggling. Was it enough for computers to take away our need to hand-write basically anything? Absolutely not. Now, they can even read whatever we type. Whether it be the lyrics to “Baby” by Justin Bieber, a nonsense poem that doesn't even rhyme, an essay that we're too lazy to proofread ourselves, or even a book that we're too negligent to read with our own eyes – the computer will automatically do it for us. All we have to do is simply highlight some text and press a combination of keys and huzzah! Whether you choose Alex, Junior, Agnes, or Frank to be your personal story-teller for the time-being; you are in for a treat. It doesn't matter what nonsense you choose for them to narrate to you, it's always going to be a grand time. Their nonchalant, casual, emotionless robot voices make any spiel worthwhile.

Powderpuff Football

The Homecoming 2011 festivities continued on Tuesday night with the Powderpuff Football Tournament, featuring the girls of each class years.  The wet and muddy evening got off to wild start for the Seniors, as the knocked off the Sophomores 22-0.  The Juniors followed suit by shutting out the Freshmen 16-0.  In the Championship Game, the Juniors jumped out to an early lead with a quick touchdown at the beginning, and then added to their lead and held off a late surge by the Seniors and came away with a 14-6 upset victory.  Homecoming Activities continue on with the parade on Friday afternoon and the Varsity Football Game on Friday night against Bremen.

Cross-Country Team Runs in the Rain....

It was pouring down rain and there was occasional lightening and thunder, but our boys brought home a first place finish at the bi-county.

Your “real” best friend

You've had a bad day. You failed a important test, some your friends turned against you, and you just found out your mother or father just lost their job and you feel like your life is ruined. You want to turn to your friends but realize they most likely wouldn't understand. You want to turn to your parents but realize they are going through just as rough a time as you. You try doing your favorite hobby or activity to take your mind off of it but even that doesn't work.

But right when everything seems like there's no way it could get better, your best pal comes running into the room, looks at you, and wags it's tail furiously. You realize your real best friend is literally always there for you. As you look at your dog or puppy, you can't help but smile and just feel,
